Morgins (Switzerland) – The village of Morgins, in Région Dents du Midi, Switzerland, will host the prestigious ISMF World Championships of Ski Mountaineering from March 2 to 9!
Most important event of the year for SkiMo World
This ISMF World Championships2025 will bring together nearly 400 athletes from 34 different nationalities, competing in both Youth and Senior categories.
A new landmark event for Switzerland, the birthplace of SkiMo, following the successful World Championships in 2008 and the World Cup events in 2022 and 2023.
Held every two years, this event will showcase the world’s best SkiMo athletes, just one year before SkiMo makes its Olympic debut.
On the program: all five SkiMo disciplines—Mixed Relay, Vertical, Sprint, Individual, and Team Race.
With the Olympic Games on the horizon, the stakes are higher than ever. The Sprint and Mixed Relay races will serve as “direct tickets”, offering spots to the nations that secure victory for the upcoming Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
